I just saw a video posted on Facebook titled "Strangers, again". The whole video is sort of true in a way. For me, stage 3 is the best part of a relationship. And yeah, when things go wrong, what happens in the video is a generally what will happen in a failing relationship. It's kind of sad, though, that quite a lot of relationships do end that way - being strangers, again. But if that happens, you just gotta move on with life. It's difficult but in the long run, it will be worth it. There's no point looking back and regretting what is already in the past. Who knows? You just might meet someone just as special, if not more than that, in the future and your stage 4 will be a whole lot different.

p.s I'm still waiting for the right person to even initiate stage 1. And that's always the hardest part.

Doubts That Come Once In A While But Never Truly Go Away

I'm not sure why I feel this way today. I feel that I'm not the right person to do what I'm doing for a living now. Or maybe it's just that this job doesn't suit me. When I first started, I told everybody that I'm fine with the job. "Everything's good!", I'd tell them. But now after almost 5 months in it, I somehow feel like it's not the kind of thing that I like or want. Or maybe this is just one of the bad days that lead me to doubt myself. I know who to talk to about this kinda problems but that said person ain't here to listen to me anymore. Oh well, just hoping tomorrow will be a better day. I gotta start figuring out what I truly want for my career, though.

Of Graduation, Holiday, and Being Sensible

Whoa, this has been a long hiatus from blogging. 2 months and before all that was just World Cup. How sad eh? Time to share some stuff other than football then.

First of all, I finally graduated!


Though I didn't achieve what I aimed for but at least I graduated without having to take extra papers and all that crap. Never thought I was gonna make it, though. Kinda messed up my final year (a lot of distractions by the way). So, now with a cert in my hands I gotta do something which is not my cup of tea - job hunting. But this is only for the best for me. Once I get a job, it's gonna be a long journey. Hopefully, I don't end up like this.

Stressing and sweating out to meet deadlines, and balding due to stress mentioned. =)

Nothing much has gone on for the past 2 months. The only thing that's worth mentioning was that I went on an awesome trip to Melbourne with my family minus my brother. Why awesome?

Because I get to see beautiful views like these at the Great Ocean Road.

Because I don't get to see penguins in Malaysia.



Because you can't find superb seafood like these in Malaysia. Well, maybe you can but no way the oysters in Malaysia are as big. =)

Because it's not often you get to party in Melbourne celebrating Malaysia Night just for Independence Day...

And end up like my friend here with his head down and totally wasted. =)

Not to mention the much cooler weather and free transport around the city. Yes, you saw it right. FREE transportation in the city. You can't even dream of that kinda shit in Malaysia, can you? Oh oh, did I mention the freeway is FREE as well? Go around Australia and you won't spend a bomb on tolls. It's called a FREEway for a reason. =)

So yeah, that's what I've enjoyed for the past couple of really unproductive months. Oh wait, I did go on a one night trip with my buddies to PD. The trip was just for fun since we haven't gone on a trip for a long time. Missing a few of the guys but don't worry, another one is being planned.

Oh, about being sensible. Well, I might stir up some shit right here. When some new people comes into your group of friends, how do you treat them? Nicely, I presume. Well, I guess not all of us are the same, are we? When you drift away from said group and then see the so-called new ones still enjoying the company of the same group, you don't get to be upset. I'm sorry but the group's membership isn't set in stone. There's always space for the group to expand. You either adapt or you leave.

My Laptop Can Be The Devil!

Hola! I know I haven't been updating much but I'm kinda busy. At the same time, although I'm supposed to be busy I get tempted to use my laptop to go online for Facebook, MSN, Youtube, Soccernet amongst other things. And then there's a few games I do play on my laptop too. Hence, the title of this post. I don't know why I keep procrastinating these past few weeks. It's my freaking final year and in my final semester and I'm slacking so much. TOO MUCH! I'm so easily distracted. I just don't know why. ARRGHH! Emo now. Hate my procrastinating and lazy self. I need some inspiration and motivation to do my work. And I have lots of it.

What's been going on lately? Well, to name a few:
- Annual Dinner ~ Food sucked, organization bad, and Zouk was too packed...with my own uni students. ZzzZzZZ
- Liverpool looks like a shitty team right up until the game against Sunderland where they were surprisingly and amazingly awesome. A case of too little, too late? I hope not.
- MCA chose the wrong guy to lead them...my opinion anyway. Gives all the people that are caught in scandals hope of becoming a leader someday. Who knows? If Tiger Woods was Malaysian, he'd be our Prime Minister. =P
- Reading about a lot of fuss about our Education Ministry hiring foreign teachers in the future to teach Malaysian students how to speak English following their way including accent and all. Seriously?? I feel so sorry for the students that are going to be involved in that crap.
- Realized that there are a lot of "lagu jiwang" on my playlist. I probably need to have some fast-paced or some dance music. A little techno maybe? Haha.

Just A Short Random Post

Wow, this blog has been left out in the cold for the past 2 months or so. Well, all I gotta say is that I've got nothing much to write about anyway these days. Plus, I've been busy with a design project that is still ongoing until late April anyway. And I've been slowly recovering emotionally. =)

Anyway, before SHE left this world, she got me something - a t-shirt. And on the first day of wearing it, it provided some laughs. There's only one epic picture to show what exactly the laughs were for. So here it goes.


That person beside me had no idea I was wearing a t-shirt that says just that and he had no idea at the time when another friend of mine took this random picture. He just asked for my phone and "SNAP!" Haha. Sorry, Darrick. You are now in my blog for an unfortunate reason. =) Actually, I think my classmate has a picture of me standing beside a lecturer who was doing something on the computer. Oops! =P Well, that's all for now. I guess I would have to log in to my blog more often now just to keep it alive.

Farewell 2009, Hola 2010!

Yeah, I know this post is about 3 or 4 days overdue but what the heck. I didn't want to blog about anything actually but somehow this afternoon I was trying to remember what happened in 2009. Well, I think I remembered the important bits good enough. Here's to summarize what happened in 2009.

January
-Had my exams and did well. For the first time in a very long time I was satisfied with my results.
-Chinese New Year had less ang pau because Felix and Jason weren't around this time. =( And I spent less time gambling this time around.

February
-Valentine's Day? What Valentine's Day? Spent it alone. (Single already mah right??)

March
-Work started to pile up like hell but I was still procrastinating as usual. =)
-Celebrated Teng Siang's (met a new person - his gf Carmen) and Camie's 21st birthdays

April
-Celebrated Alex's 21st, met Ice (No, that's not her real name) who's awesome and always takes every compliment she can get (haha), accidentally spilled beer on someone, and saw my sis made Alex even more drunk at Pure Bar. =)
-Had a quiet celebration for Ching Yang's 21st. Went to watch football and thought Manchester United were gonna lose on his birthday (Yes, he supports that team I hate). In the end, Man Utd gave a footballing lesson to their opponents.
-Loss a beloved aunt. Didn't think it would have affected me emotionally as it did.

May
-Had my 21st birthday at home. Most of my closest buddies made it except for those who were studying in Australia. BAD drinking night, AN EVEN WORSE hangover!
-Got really sick just before exams. Thought it was H1N1.
-Exams. Screwed up this time but managed to pass all the papers.
-Lost a classmate to a car accident. Shows how life can be so fragile and short.

June
-The month that started the most boring 3 months of my life. Haha. Part time job till September.
-Started to treat Alex's house as a late night home. Play Winning Eleven on PS3 like nobody's business.
-If I'm not mistaken this was also the month I met more new people. Kevan's gf Lai Shan and Ching Yang's gf Carryn. First impression : both these girls are quite the opposite. One talks with the guys the other listens to the guys lame/dirty jokes. Haha!

July
-Felix and Jason came back for Felix's bro's wedding where he got waxed!
-Had the first taste of go-karting (please don't label Genting's as go-kart 'cause it's a freaking buggy ride). Enjoyed it but didn't want to pay that amount for it again.
-Broke my own record of eating sate celup (No, not proud of it but amazed by it). 1 night 40+ sticks with sis and her friends. 2 days later, 30+ sticks with my friends. (Awesome or not?) Vowed to exercise more often after that.
-Climbed Bkt Beruang for the 1st time. Panted the whole way up. =)
-Got myself a gift from my friends for my birthday. Confused? Lol. And got myself a new phone!

August
-Working was boring. Every week couldn't wait for Fridays to end and wished Sundays wouldn't come. Couldn't stop counting the days to the end of the part-time job.

September
-New semester and met more ang moh at my uni.
-Went KL for cousin's 21st birthday where he got ambushed by his friends with eggs and flour.
-Met Wee Kiat's gf Joyce. Seemed like I was the only one without one then. Lol

October
-Wee Kiat's 21st birthday and still won't forget Wee Kiat shouting "Best birthday ever!!" and will NOT step foot in Arena ever again!

November
-Kevan's 21st birthday celebration. Karaoke + Dinner + Pure Bar. Who could forget? Met Ice's sister, Qian who's just as awesome but somehow says I look like a politician. *shrugs*
-Sister's birthday. Drank a lot but didn't get wasted.
-Went to Poppy's to party. Drank really a lot again and didn't remember what happened after getting out of the club. And lost my specs. Lol.

December
-Work, work, work was what it was all about at the beginning of the month. Didn't get much sleep 'cause of it.
-Holidays. Everyday out for supper and gaming and movies and sometimes stay up so late have to go for breakfast and try to sneak back into the house before mum wakes up. (That last one didn't happen 'cause my mum is always up early)
-Christmas. Had a feast at my aunt's house until I could barely move. Lol
-New Year's Eve. This was the party of all parties! Nothing can top it. Unless we have another one in 2010 of course. Everyone was back including those studying Down Under and we had a truly awesome night!

There you go. My not-so-short summary of my 2009. 2010 is gonna be better I hope.

Yep, I'm just here again to wish all of you out there a Merry Christmas! Go celebrate with the spirit of giving and sharing. After all, that's what Christmas is all about. Go party but don't get drunk or wasted. =) I'm going to have a feast tonight! Time to get fat again. T.T

Christmas is 'Round the Corner!

Oh hello! I feel so sorry for this blog. I haven't touched it for more than a month now. Been rather busy during the past month with all the courseworks and what not. My brain was on over-clock mode more often than ever before while doing those courseworks. And yet, I feel like I didn't do enough to get good marks out of them.

Anyway, Christmas is almost here! Woohoo! Again, my parents decided not to have an open house for Christmas this year. Main reason is that my relatives decided to celebrated Christmas in KL again this year and nobody would be coming down to Melaka. I miss that! I miss having the whole family on Christmas Eve at my grandparents' house and having barbequed food for dinner and then gathering round to collect our presents. Then the next day there would be an open house at my place where there's booze and my mom's chicken pie! =) Nothing's better than celebrating Christmas in Melaka ok?! I must insist my parents to celebrate Christmas back in Melaka next year!

Finally got my present a few days back. I usually don't have a list of what I want for Christmas but this year I thought I wanted either a pair of jogging shoes or an away Liverpool jersey. But since Liverpool is VERY SUCKY this season I'd thought better of getting the jersey. Went to Mahkota Parade to look for one but in the end I got myself a perfume instead. This was because my brother said that I could find cheap shoes like Umbro or something. And since I always end up tearing my sports shoes, I figured he's right - might as well buy a cheap pair of shoes with my own money.

I haven't been to the Portuguese Settlement to see the Christmas decorations there yet but I bet it's the same as always - lots of colourful lights, some big-ass inflatable Santa(s) and lots and lots of locals/tourists walking around at night taking pictures. Mahkota Parade's decorations weren't that grand. Here's some pictures.

It's actually supposed to be my study break now and I've not touched my notes yet. Exams start in January and I've got lots to study. I hate exams in January! 'Cause I know I can hardly study before Christmas anyway. How do the students in UK deal with this, I wonder. Oh well, I guess I have to start somehow. And sooner rather than later or else I'd be screwed for my exams! That's all for now, peeps! Will update again when I'm free.

Shifted!
